Your wetsuit requires very careful handling during use and storage. If you take proper care of your wetsuit after diving, you can use it for many years.
- After diving, rinse the wetsuit with fresh water to remove salt.
- Never wash your wetsuit with detergents or chemicals.
- Dry your wetsuit on a thick plastic hanger.
- Make sure the inside of your wetsuit is completely dry.
- Do not fold the wetsuit! Folding the wetsuit can damage the bubbles inside and the insulating properties of the wetsuit can be lost.
- If you are not going to use the wetsuit for a long time, powder it inside and out. This will prevent the exposed the neoprene parts from sticking together.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Keep your wetsuit away from heaters and open flames.
- Protect the wetsuit from contact with aggressive chemicals, gasoline, acetone, bleaches, from contact with sharp objects that can damage the fabric.
- Do not use oversized wetsuits!
